Of course Deathbox rules - what'd you expect?

Dave Hackett placed 1st in Alb. New Mex. at The Sandia Banked Slalom Challenge making it the second time in a row he's scored 1st palce over all in the giant banked slalom. Black Leather Racing added a new rider and super fast racer Robert Palmer who took 2nd place overall. Steve Olson took 3rd.

The entire Deathbox crew has been getting busy filming for their first ever video. Titled GNAR; Tales from the Box! You can expect it to br ready in about 8-10 months.

Dave Ruel is out of commission for a few with a broken collarbone. He was up in Flagstaff, AZ with Hackett and Bowman after the New Mexico contest and hung up at the Bushwacker park of death. Ouch! Hackett said he felt the concrete move, and they were off to the Hospital! The new Chlorine video is finally out, with features of Dave Hackett, Steve Olson, Salba, Duane Peters, Pineapple and Dave Ruel. I've been waiting for this for some time now. The expectation is the best!

The latest on Doug Saladino ... Last seen hanging and skating with legendary Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament ... Word also on the street was that he was recently trolling the backyards in San Diego with legendary skate photographer Ted Terrebone and skate dog Damon Mills. Pineapple's 6-year old son Shey seems to have join the ranks of the local "Y" posse at Clairemont and can be spotted skating the pool with dad and crew.
