I heard somewhere that Deathbox's Mark Partain is entering the Basic Bowl contest and by the time you read this, he will have probably have already won it.
Introducing the not so new, new Deathbox Thick Bitch concave. Da Think Bitch is a super hardcore mixture of 7 ply Canadian hard rock maple construction, specifically designed and produced for Deathbox skateboards. It holds up under the most radical riders and the most insane terrain. Minimal flex; just stiff and hard for maximum destruction!
Pig Wheels is very, very fired up about 2 new riders. Ben "The Barbarian" Gilley and D.J. Chavez are now among the many satisfied Pig Wheels riders. Hell yes! Pig just keeps getting better and better!
How fun would it be to combine the talents of all the Pig Wheels team into one person? It'd be incredibly ugly, I can tell you that. It'd be able to leap large buildings. He could French kiss 203 girls at one time and drink 2.7 gallons of beer in a second! What else could it do? Send in your best ideas to email@example.com . The best answer will get his grill put up on the www.pigwheels.com site. Not to mention all of the stickers you'll get.
Pig wheels is chaulk full of good news today. We'd also like to introduce you a couple of innovative progressions in wheels design. First is the new Prime cut, it's a double-sided groove cut that reduces the weight of the wheel by a whopping 12%! And protects the graphics. Mixed with a new urethane formula that gives a harder wheel the resists flat spotting and improves traction.
Secondly, we are proud to release the new Gutter cut. A deeper sigle-sided groove that reduces weight by 16%! And protects the graphic. The offset bearing seating gives you more truck grinding area, protects the nut and axel and eliminates axel slippage. Another new urethane formula gives it a harder feeling wheel that resists flat spotting and improves traction.
Keep an eye out for the Hell Bent concave from Pig wood. It's a deep concave, for more control, with a steep nose and tail for better pop, also increasing the strength and durability. The Pig Hell Bent concave has been tested and approved by the Pig Wood team.
Plus, Corey just scored a punching bag of his likeness. A not quite 6ft tall bag in which you too can beat him like a wrestling couch. Bags are only available to skate shops (one per shop) and only available to kids through our online partners - www.skateboard.com , www.skateamerica.com , and www.active.com . Price is $15.00 plus shipping and handling. Only 600 punching bags were made so these are limited and are running out fast!
It's time for Foundation's European Vacation tour! Ethan Folwer, Corey Duffel, Daniel Shimizu and Leo Romero are going to the smorgasboard of European countries. Which include England, Belgium, Holland, Russia, Germany and France. In that order on May 13th - June 10th. Check out www.FOSKCO.com for exact dates and locations.
Slam City Jam was fun. The first day Corey killed the course and qualified 1st in his heat to semi finals. He had 2 solid runs with explosive tricks "he killed it"! The next day he fell on 2 tricks in his run and just missed the 20 cut. He was skating so good all weekend and when he wasn't skating he was signing autographs. He was getting mobbed by kids the whole time. He definitely kicked ass "signed probably a few thousand autographs" and made a great impression for the Foundation.
F+ is a new Foundation concave. It's a deep elongated concave that gives you more of a consistent feel from nose to tail. A stiffer, snappier longer lasting board! The area between nose and tail has been reduced to give a truer nose and tail from the truck (no more big flat spots).
The new Toy Machine tour video Sucking the Life is defiantly out. It's absolutely amazing and is wooing fans across the globe. It's about time! Toy Machine is currently working on a full length in the meantime. Expected to be out by Christmas, maybe.
Toy Machine board construction has signed on to the New Wave program. The new method of board construction using longitudinal waves from nose to tail forming through out the layering of maple plies, giving it a stiffer, longer lasting and responsive snap.
Foundation Skateboards, or FOSKCO as its more affectionalty called, has team'd up with Street Machine for an autograph signing. All details are on the flyer that is above this text, but you can only see it if you look. That's why we make these things.
